Centre Information

The centre is located just off Herringthorpe Valley Road and is a multi-functional environment where young people engage in activities, learning and development in areas that are specific and of need to them. It provides young people with a safe place to meet on a regular basis where they can talk to youth workers and participate in activities in an informal and anti-oppressive setting.

At Herringthorpe Valley Youth Centre young people can take part in activities, learning and development in areas that are specific and of need by you.

We provide young people with a safe place to meet on a regular basis where they can talk to professional youth workers and participate in fun, exciting activities in an informal setting.

The centre hosts bass2beat music studio where young people have access to industry standard music equipment, where you can; rehearse, record and learn about the music industry.

We are committed to listening to young people in regard to providing what you want and encourage participants to plan and design their own programmes.


 

What's On?

5.00 to 7.30pm - Boys Group Invite only group for young men aged 10-19 that encourages young men to increase confidence, improve social interaction and develop life skills.

3.00 to 8.00pm - Music For A Better Wellbeing – Music can inspire, reduce anxiety, increase confidence and help with mental health issues. It can develop focus and drive and can be used for therapeutic processes. Our aim is to provide a space where young people are safe to express themselves, meet like minded new people, be creative and increase personal development.
