The new 16-19 study programme at CTS Training will give you the opportunity to gain skills, qualifications and work experience that will help you progress to an apprenticeship, further education (college) or a job with training.

You will attend an introductory session to discuss enrolling onto one of the following offers:

Health, Social Care and Children and Young Peoples settings

Construction, Engineering and Motor Vehicle

Work Experience (available in a wide range of occupational areas across Rotherham and Sheffield)

Retail

Business administration

ESOL (English speakers of other language)

All of the above offers include the opportunity to complete a work experience placement and attend a range of pastoral sessions from confidence building, dealing with family issues to your health and wellbeing.

During your time at CTS you will be allocated your own individual pastoral tutor to support you through all your stages of learning.

 Requirements There are no minimum entry requirements.
 Training In addition to your chosen subject, you can complete additional qualifications in:

City and Guilds Level 1 Certificate in Employability Skills

BTEC Introductory Certificate in Personal and Social Development

Functional Skills ICT (Entry Level 1 to Level 2

If you do not have a GCSE grade A*-C then you will complete a range of English and Maths Qualifications to support your progression:

Functional Skills English (Entry Level 1 and Level 2)

Functional Skills Maths (Entry Level 1- Level)

 Hours Usually a minimum of 12 hours per week for up to 12 months
 Pay Eligible learners can access the CTS bursary fund
