Annually the UK Youth Parliament runs the national ‘Make Your Mark’ campaign to voice the views of young people. The campaign enables young people to take this opportunity to have their say!

The top 5 issues from the nationwide ballot go forward to the annual House of Commons sitting where Members of Youth Parliament (MYPs) debate on the issues then vote on the one that they believe should be the UKYP National Campaign for the next year.  This debate is chaired by The Rt Hon John Bercow MP, Speaker of the House of Commons

So if you’re aged between 11 and 18, we need your help!

Rotherham is aiming for 7,000 ballots before the 9th October deadline, so cast your vote and have your say to the policy makers. Every vote counts, we want to hear what is important to you. Only with your voice are we able to make a difference.

How to Vote?

You can vote online at www.ukyouthparliament.org.uk/MakeYourMark

You can vote through a number of schools and young people’s centres across Rotherham who are participating in the campaign

You can follow our campaigns and progress on Twitter @UKYPRotherham and Facebook at /UKYP.Rotherham.
